IIChE welcomes all the Organisations and Institutions interested in development of chemical engineering
profession may become to its fold. They may become organisational members of the institute subject to
fulfillment certain eligibility criteria and completion of other formalities.
Criteria for becoming Organizational Member:
Organizations and Institutions interested in development of Chemical Engineering profession and its
application to Chemical industries may be elected Organizational Members as prescribed in Clause 13.5
in the Constitution.
Organizational Members shall be from (a) Chemical and Allied industries including service industries, (b)
Research Institutions engaged in R&D activities related to Chemical Engineering Science and Technology,
(c) Academic Institutions engaged in education, training and research related to the Chemical
Engineering profession, and (d) Organizations serving the profession of chemical engineering. The
decision of the Council in the above matter shall be final.
Fees & Subscription:

|Life Organizational Member with turn-over:
|- 100 Crores and above
|- above Rs. 10 Crores
|- below Rs. 10 Crores
|- Academic Institution, Govt R&D Organisation (India)
|- Academic Institution, Govt R&D Organisation (Overseas)
|GST @ 18% (CGST 9% + SGST 9%) should be added in addition to the respective fees except the last one (Overseas Organisation).
Rights and Privileges for IIChE Organisational Members
A brief profile (within 500 words) of the Organisation / Institute, taking Life Membership, will be printed in IIChE E-Newsletter following enrolment.
- Organisational Members will receive a certificate of membership on enrolment.
- Maximum four delegates (depending upon the annual turnover of the Organisational Member) will be allowed to attend the annual conferences of the Institute (CHEMCON), waiving the requirement of the delegate fees.
For Academic Institutions, one delegate can attend CHEMCON without payment of registration fee.
Organisational Members will receive a copy of the Institute’s Journal, INDIAN CHEMICAL ENGINEER.
Organisational Members will be allowed to use IIChE logo in their letterheads.
The Life Organisational Members will be kept informed of all programmes, initiated by the Institute Headquarters. Their official delegates will be eligible for programmes, such as, short-term technical courses, continuing education courses, technical symposia,
seminars, etc., at the payment of a concessional fee (75% of the regular fee).
