IIChE welcomes all persons engaged in the profession of chemical engineering or being trained as a chemical engineer to its fold. They may become members of the institute subject to fulfillment certain eligibility criteria and completion of other formalities.

Criteria for becoming Student Member:

Every candidate for admission to the Institute as a Student Member shall produce evidence satisfactory to the Council that he has the following qualifications:-
He/She is being trained as a Chemical Engineer as an under graduate student in a constituent or affiliated college under a University/Technological Institution recognized by the Institute or has registered for the Associate Membership Examination conducted by the Institute.
The Students of Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Allied Process Technology of any Polytechnic College recognized by the Institute may also apply for the category of the 'Associate Diploma Student Member' (ADSM).

For any year	Fees (including Registration Fee Rs 100/-)
	Rs.600/- + 18% GST = Rs.708/-
